Paint thickness was checked beforehand so the correction could be performed safely, removing only the minimum amount of clear coat needed to level the defects. Compounds, polishes, and pads were matched to the hardness of the paint, with test sections used to dial in the right combination. Each panel was then wiped down and inspected under dedicated lighting to confirm the defects were gone and not just filled. Swirl marks and fine scratches scatter light, so removing them is what brings back sharp reflections and a deeper, richer color. The result is paint that looks noticeably cleaner and more vibrant in both direct sunlight and shade.
