WINTER
RESIDENCY.
Your car is about to sleep for four months. That is the only window where a major project costs you nothing: no missed drives, no lost weekends, no season given up. From November through February, we reserve our calendar for exactly this work.
The Winter Residency comes from something I have watched for seventeen years. The projects great cars deserve get postponed all spring and summer, because nobody wants to give up driving season for three weeks in the studio. Then winter comes, the roads are salted, the covers go on, and the cars sit untouched for four months, exactly when the calendar is finally clear.
This season fixes that. From November through the end of February, we reserve our calendar for major projects on cars that will not see the road until spring. That is when the deepest work happens best. A car can take residence with us for as long as its project requires, it can ship to us from anywhere in the country, or our team can come to you and work through an entire collection on your ground.
Either way, the result is the same. When the covers come off in spring, the work is already done.
FROM ACROSS TOWN,
OR ACROSS THE COUNTRY.
Drive it in, ship it in, or have us come to you. Every residency receives the same standard, the same documentation, and the same team.
Winter is the one season when shipping your car makes perfect sense: it was not going to be driven anyway. For fourteen years, clients from across the country have shipped their vehicles to us for exactly this kind of work. We work closely with you and the transport company to help facilitate a smooth, safe process in both directions, and your vehicle is received, documented, and cared for from the moment it comes off the truck. It leaves home asleep and comes back finished.
Your vehicle takes residence at our New Albany or Cleveland studio for one to three weeks, depending on the scope of the project. It receives the undivided attention of our team during the most focused months of our year.

LIMITED BY DESIGN.
The season is limited on both ends. Yours: a project done in January costs you nothing, while the same project in June costs you the best driving months of the year. Ours: the Residency runs one season per year, and we do not expand it to meet demand. When the calendar is full, it is full until next winter.
THE PROJECTS WINTER WAS MADE FOR.
The Residency exists for the work that needs time. Projects that are difficult to schedule in season become the entire focus of the studio in winter.
The service our collector clients request most in winter. Dry ice cleaning restores undercarriages, engine bays, and chassis without water or abrasion, which makes it ideal for significant classics and preservation-grade vehicles. It is available exclusively at our New Albany headquarters, and the Residency is when the deepest dry ice projects happen.
