Estimates

Estimates provided are an approximation of timing and charges to you for the services requested. They are based on the anticipated work to be done. It is possible for unexpected complications to cause some deviation from the original quote. You hereby authorize the repair work described in this estimate to be done along with the procurement of the necessary material(s), including permission to operate the vehicle for on-road testing or inspection. If any additional repairs are required, we will prepare a revised work order providing the cost of additional parts and labor and total revised cost. All parts are new unless specified otherwise.

Deposits

Deposits are non-refundable. No returns or refunds on special ordered items or electrical parts. There is no warranty for used parts of customer supplied parts.

Loss & Damage

You agree that we are not responsible for loss or damage to your vehicle, including loss of articles left in the vehicle, including, without limitation, in case of fire, theft, or any other cause(s) beyond our control. We are not responsible for any delays caused by unavailability of parts or delays in delivery of parts by the supplier or transporter. You have the right to know before authorizing any additional repairs what those repairs will be and what they will cost. If required repairs exceed the authorized estimated amount, we must obtain your approval to perform the repairs. We will keep you informed and perform only repairs authorized by you.

Aftermarket Parts

Wheels, Tires, Suspension

ESOTERIC does not warranty against creaks, ride quality, fitment, or computer faults on any aftermarket parts that we install. The owner must provide parts if wanting to improve fitment or adjust any components.

Body & Trim

ESOTERIC does not warranty body and trim parts for fitment, or modify installation instructions.

Recording Devices

We require all recording systems, dash cams, etc. be disabled before leaving your vehicle on ESOTERIC property.

1. Authorization

By leaving your vehicle with ESOTERIC, you authorize ESOTERIC to service my vehicle for work stated and agree with pricing. I acknowledge an inspection of the vehicle has been completed in my presence and work is to be performed on the car “as is”. If there are scrapes, rock chips, and other paint defects, by initialing here, I understand that Paint Protection Film (PPF) will not hide these defects, and I agree to have film application placed over these defects. Full payment is due upon completion of work. I also acknowledge that I have removed items of value from the vehicle and ESOTERIC is not responsible for any items left in the vehicle.

2. Limited Parts Warranty Paint Protection Film 10 Year Limited Warranty on Parts Only

(Defined as any paint protection film or clear bra) protects from bubbling, fading and cracking. This product warranty is upheld by the manufacturer. The product will take up to 3 weeks to dry as water bubbles evaporate. Warranty is non-transferable and DOES NOT cover wear and tear damage including film yellowing on white and silver vehicles. Paint protection film will require regular maintenance. Bugs, bird droppings, and other foreign contaminants may leave etch marks that may or may not be removable depending on the length of time the contaminant has been exposed to the film (if they can eat through paint, then they can eat through film). PPF is a wear item that will exhibit these wears over time in the form of tears and marks from road debris impacts, exposure to contaminants and ultraviolet rays. Do not wash vehicle during the initial 5 days post applications. PPF manufacturing processes such as striations and orange peel texture may be pronounced on darker colored vehicles and is the nature of PPF. I do understand these conditions and understand that a 100% defect-free application is not possible. If the surface of the vehicle has imperfections such as rock chips, their appearance may be enhanced once PPF is applied. I acknowledge that if the vehicle has been repainted (non-OEM paint) OR has a sub-par paint quality denoted by existing rock chips, paint runs, paint drips, fish eyes, overspray, debris in paint, lack of paint or clear coat, there is a chance that the film may pull up the paint either during the installation or if the film needs to be removed for any reason in the future.

3. Paint Protection Film labor warranty for 90 days post installation

ESOTERIC’s workmanship is of excellent quality but is not completely free of innate installation flaws such as stretch marks, dimples and other distortions that are pronounced on darker colored vehicles. PPF application is subject to the environment and may have some dust imprints due to the impossibility of removing 100% of dust from the air, water (which is used to apply PPF), and from the vehicle itself. ESOTERIC will perform an application to meet its superior standards but has not made any claims of perfection in the applications of the materials. Labor warranty includes bubbling and peeling. ESOTERIC does not warrant against any lifting or peeling caused by car washes or pressure washers.

4. Removal of Existing Paint Protection Film

Even using the safest techniques, there exists the possibility of paint/clearcoat failing and coming off with the film. This happens more with aftermarket paint, or with exotic or custom-built vehicles. Should this happen, the vehicle owner will be responsible for expenses related to having the area(s) re-painted.

5. Detailing and Polishing Services: I acknowledge that:

• Not all defects can be safely removed.
• Despite expertise and measuring equipment, clear coat/paint strikethrough can happen. These risks are greater when the vehicle has been worked on previously by other detailers, body shops, spot repairs at the factory, and non-original paint. ESOTERIC will not be held responsible for any defects occurring as a result of prior work on the vehicle.
• On lighter-level polishing services (One-step / single-stage), heavier defects will remain.

6. Insurance and Liability

Vehicle owner’s insurance is responsible for theft, fire, vandalism etc.

7. Window Tinting

I understand that under the current Ohio law the legal limit must be 50% light transmittance or lighter on the two front windows and 70% light transmittance or lighter on the front windshield. If I request and want to receive the application of window tint that is darker than this legal limit, I agree not to hold ESOTERIC Fine Auto Finishing, LLC or anyone associated with ESOTERIC liable for any consequences or tickets that may occur from this purchase. This would also include but not limited to indemnification and release from damages, judgments, costs of attorney fees or other litigation expenses. Any legal or equitable claim that may arise from these services shall be resolved under Ohio law. If at any time I want to have a lighter tint installed on the front windows I understand I am responsible for removal and replacement costs.

8. Photos & Media

ESOTERIC takes photos of vehicles in our studio for documenation purposes and final customer photo galleries. These images can appear on our social media and website. If you do not wish your vehicle to be photographed, please let us know before you drop off.
