Three ways Corvettes get here.
More Corvettes than anyone in Ohio.
Nobody in Ohio does the volume of Corvette work that Esoteric does. Over a decade of specialization means we have seen every generation, every color, every edge case this car presents. When your Corvette comes to us, it is not a learning experience. It is a routine one.
We are active members of the community that drives them. Esoteric has sponsored the Capital City Corvette Club in Columbus for more than six years. Our building has hosted their gatherings, and our parking lot has been filled end to end with Corvettes from every generation. In Cleveland we sponsor Corvette Cleveland, and you will find us at their events the same way you find us at the meets in Columbus.
That involvement is national, not just local. Esoteric's Corvette work was being covered nationally as far back as 2016, when CorvetteBlogger and GM Authority both featured our 100-hour C7 Z06 detail. Our founder first appeared on the Corvette Today Podcast on episode 5 and returned for episode 110, on paint protection film and ceramic coating. The studio has also been profiled by Motor1 and the David Spisak Show.
When Corvette owners in Ohio need work done, Esoteric is the name that travels through the community before anyone asks for it. That reputation was built by doing right by the people who care most about these cars.

A new one is on the way
The car changes everything.
The moment a Corvette arrives, something shifts. The way you think about where you park. The way you feel watching another car door swing open nearby. The quiet anxiety of owning something you love but cannot fully protect on your own.
That feeling is exactly what this is for. Not just the rock chips and road debris, though film stops all of that. The real outcome is peace of mind, the most consistently reported thing our customers describe when they talk about what Esoteric gave them.
Many Corvette owners book before their car ever arrives. For them, protection is the first call they make, not the last.
Build date delayed? Book anyway. Our schedule fills months in advance, and a car with no delivery date yet is the easiest one to plan around. We hold the slot and move it with your car.
- Will it look factory?
- When done correctly, the finished result is nearly indistinguishable from factory paint. Edges are tucked wherever possible. Seams are minimized by design, not left to chance.
- Who will actually touch my car?
- Trained professionals in a controlled environment, working on a scissor lift at eye level. Your car is documented on arrival and no one touches it without accountability built into every step.
- Is film reversible?
- Yes. Paint protection film can be safely removed without damaging the paint underneath. What feels like an irreversible decision is not one.
- I have a factory matte or satin finish.
- We know these cars. Satin film is applied to maintain perfect visual consistency with factory paint. This is one of the areas where installer experience is not optional.
- What if something is not right?
- Contact us immediately. No questions asked. This is not a policy. It is how this studio has operated for 17 years.
Most Corvette owners protect the whole car.
Regardless of trim, the majority of Corvettes that come through our studios leave with full coverage: every painted panel, edges tucked, one continuous standard from nose to tail. On a car shaped like this, low, wide, and forward-facing, with this much surface out in front of the wheels, full coverage is what we recommend first. It is what nearly every Z06, ZR1, and ZR1X leaves here with.
The Corvette package, shown here, is the minimum we recommend for any Corvette. It was built from hundreds of installs to cover the areas that take the most damage, and it is where the conversation goes when full coverage is not in the plan. Think of it as the floor, not the ceiling.
The Corvette package covers:
- Full front end with splitter and mirrors
- Rockers with lower doors
- A-pillars with roof leading edge
- Fenders in front of the rear wheels
- Rear-wheel impact areas
- Carbon flash blade
- Gas cap
- 10-year film warranty
Full front end is available when the budget calls for it, and it can be extended later. The paint is corrected before any film goes on, whichever coverage you choose. New Corvettes leave the plant with holograms and polishing marks in the clear coat. Locking those under film for ten years is not protection. We remove them first.

It has been in the garage a while
It does not have to be new.
You did not buy it last month. You bought it years ago, and it has a few seasons of Ohio on it now. Chips across the nose. Swirls from every wash. Headlights starting to haze. Maybe film that was installed somewhere else and has yellowed at the edges.
Every generation from C1 through C8 comes through our studios, and most of those cars did not arrive with delivery miles. They belong to people who have owned them long enough to know exactly what they want fixed. That work gets the same standard, the same people, and the same result as a car that showed up with 12 miles on it.
And when the next one gets ordered, you already know where it goes.
- Paint correction that brings the gloss back
- Single-stage polishing removes most swirls and light marks. Multi-stage correction takes the paint past where it left the factory. Either way, it is done before anything is applied on top.
- Film on the car you drive now
- Front end, the full Corvette package, or full coverage. Older paint is inspected and prepared the same way new paint is. Chips that are already there are addressed before film goes over them.
- Old film removed and replaced
- Yellowed, cracked, or lifting film from a previous installation comes off safely, the paint is corrected, and new XPEL film goes on with our patterns and our process.
- Ceramic coating for paint, wheels, and glass
- A durable coating over paint or film, a high-temp formula on wheels and calipers, and a windshield coating that clears water at speed. Washes get easier and the car stays cleaner between them.
Ordering a Z06, ZR1, or ZR1X from out of state
If it is shipping anyway, ship it here first.
Most Z06 and ZR1 buyers order from a high-volume dealer hundreds of miles from home and have the car transported. The car is already going on a truck. Adding a stop at Esoteric means it arrives in your driveway fully protected by the studio XPEL named the best in the country, the same studio you have seen on CorvetteBlogger and heard on Corvette Today, instead of arriving bare and waiting for a local appointment.
We have been helping customers move cars in and out of our studios for 14 years. It is a routine part of the process here, not an exception.
-
Your dealer ships to Esoteric
Esoteric's address goes on the transport paperwork instead of yours. We receive the car, document it on arrival, and send you photos the day it lands. Book during the wait, and the slot is ready when the car is.
-
We do the work
Paint correction, full-body XPEL film, tint, ceramic coating. Same process, same two-stage sign-off as every Corvette that comes through our doors. You get photo updates while it is here.
-
We get it home
We work with a handful of enclosed carriers we trust. We schedule the pickup, get the car loaded safely, and follow up until it is in your garage. You pay the carrier directly. Transport is never added to our bill.
Some owners want to arrange their own transport. Some want to hand it all to us and hear nothing until the car is home. We have done it both ways for over a decade, and either one works.
Same film. Different result.
You can use the same brushes, paint, and canvas as Picasso. It does not mean you will paint like him.
Every installer in Ohio has access to the same XPEL film, the same tools, the same software. What they do not have is 17 years of judgment built on thousands of vehicles, including every generation of Corvette ever made. The difference shows in the result. Here is where it comes from.
- Patterns refined through more Corvettes than anyone
- XPEL's software provides base patterns any installer can access. Our dedicated pattern specialist works alongside experienced technicians to refine those patterns from real results across hundreds of Corvette installations. Other studios run the standard pattern and hope. Ours have been improved through volume no one else in this market has.
- Two people sign off before your car moves
- A peer installer inspects the work, then a service manager provides final sign-off. Your Corvette does not leave until both pass it.
- A dust-free environment by design
- The installation bay is physically separated from all dust-generating operations. Contamination trapped under film is not acceptable, and eliminating it takes a controlled environment, not just careful hands.
- Corvette wear data across every generation
- When additional coverage is recommended, it is because we have seen exactly where Corvettes take damage. Not because it is a larger sale.
- The same person, start to finish
- The person who handles your inquiry is the person who greets you at drop-off and walks you through the reveal. You never re-explain your situation.

The only studio in Ohio to win XPEL's national award.
XPEL is the global standard in paint protection film. Its Dealer of the Year program recognizes the best installers at every level. Esoteric has won it four times across every tier.
- National
- XPEL USA Dealer of the Year. No other Ohio studio has ever won this.
- Regional
- XPEL Northeast USA Dealer of the Year
- State
- XPEL Ohio Dealer of the Year, twice
When you choose Esoteric for your Corvette, you are choosing the installer XPEL itself, in front of the entire industry, named the best in the nation.

Had a bad experience elsewhere?
It can be made right.
If you have film that was done incorrectly, or paint that has been damaged by a poor installation, you are not alone. A significant number of customers come to Esoteric after a first experience that should have been better.
The concern is both practical and emotional. Will the quality be different? Can I trust again? These are answered through specificity, not reassurance.
Over $100,000 in estimated bodywork avoided when a customer's Bugatti was struck by another vehicle. When we removed the film, the paint underneath was intact. That is what the product does when installed correctly by people who know what they are doing. The principle is the same for every Corvette that leaves our care.
- Two independent sign-offs before delivery
- A peer installer reviews the work. Then a service manager reviews it again. Both must pass your vehicle.
- Full surface preparation before film touches paint
- Complete wash, decontamination, and machine polish. Contamination under film is one of the most common causes of failed installations. It is eliminated before installation begins.
- No surprises at pickup
- Expectations are aligned at drop-off. Photo updates are sent during service. The walk-around reveal is unhurried and complete.
- Accountability with no expiration
- Any issue after you leave, contact us immediately. No questions asked. That is how this studio has operated since 2009.
In their own words.
I provided them the opportunity to complete paint correction, film and ceramic coatings on my 2016 Corvette Z06. Following this experience, I quickly learned the other companies I had been using were subpar. I now bring all my cars to Esoteric. Even my daily drivers. I recommend Esoteric to all my Corvette customers when their new Corvette arrives from the factory.

To say I was wowed by the result would be an understatement. The paint finish is now completely and totally flawless. The metallic properties in the Red Mist and stripes just jump out at you in sunlight, and when not in direct sunlight, the shimmer and glow is jaw-dropping.
C8 Stingray owner, Red Mist, Columbus
The car is absolutely amazing and the level of care you give to customers is refreshing.
