The restoration began with dry ice blasting process, one of the safest and most effective methods for cleaning delicate components without causing damage. Dry ice blasting removes decades of dirt, grease, road grime, and contaminants from the undercarriage, suspension, engine bay, and other hard-to-reach areas while leaving factory finishes intact. This process reveals the true condition of the vehicle and provides an exceptionally clean foundation for the next stages of restoration.

A major focus of this restoration is the complete interior disassembly and meticulous hand cleaning of every interior component. Each piece is carefully removed, inspected, and cleaned individually to eliminate decades of accumulated dust, dirt, and debris from areas that cannot be reached during a standard detail. This painstaking process allows us to restore the interior while preserving original materials, ensuring every component is returned to the vehicle looking its absolute best.

Before paint correction began, exterior trim, emblems, lighting, and other removable components were carefully disassembled to expose areas that are often overlooked. This allows us to remove years of hardened wax buildup, polish residue, and trapped contamination from around badges, moldings, and body seams while ensuring every edge receives the same level of attention as the visible painted surfaces. Once these areas were restored, we performed a meticulous multi- stage paint correction to restore depth, clarity, and gloss to the original finish. Years of fine scratches, oxidation, and swirl marks were carefully removed through a refined polishing process, dramatically improving the appearance of the paint while preserving as much original material as possible. The result is a finish that highlights every curve and body line the 1970 Plymouth Hemi Barracuda is known for.

The original wheels also received extensive refinishing to return them to their proper appearance. Every wheel was carefully restored to complement the vehicle’s factory correct aesthetic, ensuring they match the overall quality of the restoration.

To preserve and rejuvenate the interior, we completed a full Leatherique application. Leatherique is widely recognized as one of the finest leather restoration systems available, helping restore softness, flexibility, and rich appearance to aging leather while nourishing it from within. This process enhances both the look and longevity of the interior, allowing it to remain beautiful for years to come.
